Na próxima quarta-feira, 8, às 13h30, o grupo TEA'mo, formado por mães de autistas do Rio Grande, reúne-se em frente ao novo Fórum da cidade para manifestar contra o Rol Taxativo da Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar (ANS). O movimento acontece pois, no mesmo dia, Ã s 14h, o Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ) realiza uma votação para decidir se o rol de atuação da ANS será taxativo, restringindo, assim, uma série de exames e procedimentos que podem ser considerados pelos médicos como a melhor opção de tratamento para doenças raras, patologias graves ou condições específicas.

Convidando toda a comunidade rio-grandina para participar, o grupo tem o objetivo de impedir a aprovação da atuação desta medida, que afetará diretamente crianças, adolescentes e adultos autistas, pois inviabilizará diversos tratamentos necessários. Conversamos com a representante do grupo TEA'mo, Cibele Rocha, que explica a situação, "Precisamos de inúmeras terapias e muitas delas não foram incluídas no rol, com os planos exigindo a taxação, diversos autistas irão ficar prejudicados no seu tratamento, perdendo exames, médicos e outros procedimentos". 

A manifestação de grupos autistas contra a aprovação do rol acontece no Brasil todo, em Rio Grande, o ato será em frente ao novo Fórum da cidade.
